As per His Majesty’s Titah during the Legislative Council 2017 during Majlis Mesyuarat Negara (MMN) on March 2017, “…Beta telah memperkenan satu Program Apprenticeship untuk mewujudkan khusus bagi graduan-graduan yang masih mencari pekerjaan. Program ini akan dilancarkan pada bulan April 2017, insya-Allah. Ia akan dikenali sebagai Program i-Ready, khusus sebagai platform bagi para graduan memasuki alam pekerjaan sama ada di sektor swasta atau sektor awam (www.energy.gov.bn).
As one initiative of Sparkly Domestic Divas in supporting His Majesty’s Titah, we have been recruiting i-Ready applicants to join our team. With the help of the i-Ready Apprenticeship Program, Sparkly Domestic Divas has built up a team of graduates from different background. In Sparkly Domestic Divas, we are having five departments ranging from Accounts Executive, Marketing Executive, Administrative Executive, Graphic Designers and Sales Executive. Each department have one officer in charge except for administrative department who are handled by two graduates. These graduates are willing to learn new things and tackle new challenges. The aim of the i-Ready apprenticeship program is to give guidance to the freshly graduates by mentoring them on doing the on-the-job training.
The i-Ready contract signing for Sparkly Domestic Divas began on 7 July 2017 at around 9 a.m. The contract signing was conducted at the BINA building between the government officer from Jobcentre, Sparkly Domestic Divas and i-Ready applicants that have been hired by our company. The first i-Ready applicant hired for the position Accountant is a graduate from the Faculty of Business, Economics and Policy Studies, Zul. Meanwhile for the Marketing department, a graduate from University Brunei Darussalam School of Business and Economics named Amal held the position. Each of them have their uniqueness that make them suitable to be recruited for that position.

On 11 July 2017, the second contract signing is conducted in the BINA building around 9 a.m. Two i-ready applicants were recruited for the position of Administrative and Graphic Designers. They were Aqilah and Azimah who were graduated from University of Brunei Darussalam under the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Aqilah was recruited as Graphic Designers and Azimah was for Administrative Executive. Both of them were required to join the company on 12 July 2017, which was the next day after the contract signing.
Another graduate named Aqilah were recruited for the position of Graphic Designers.

The third session of i-ready contract signing were held on 1st August 2017 at the BINA building at around 10 a.m. This contract signing is for the position of Administrative Executive. Our company required two Administrative Executive position since there is a lot of administrative works to be handled in the office. A graduate named Wardah who is also from the University of Brunei Darussalam under the Faculty of University Brunei Darussalam School of Business and Economics was recruited as she has a potential in term of administrative works and she was also good in designing. To be a multi-tasking employee is always our priority, hence the reason why we think she is the best applicant for the job.
